Sure signs that spring is arriving at the Batcave: the cats staring out the window at birds and squirrels, the occasional peek of sun, and the rose bushes on the porch attacking me with new thorns.

I look back at my last entries and see that I've been effectively absent from this blog for over a week. “Doom” Wednesday is when you get your first week of Bookscan numbers for a new release, and I’m pleased to report that Pure Blood is holding strong at #10 on the Bookscan Fantasy list, two jumps up from Night Life.
